Quercus is a general trade publisher. Under our main imprint we look to publish popular works including crime and thrillers as well as general and literary fiction. We also publish in some non-fiction areas, with specialisms in biography, sport, history and popular science.
Although the imprint is geared for commercial success, we take great pride in the quality of our books. Since 2005 Quercus has won well over 100 awards and prizes, which include the Costa Best Novel Award, the CWA Duncan Lawrie Dagger, the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award and the RBA International Prize for Crime Writing.
