Katie Piper shares her secrets to building and nurturing happy, healthy relationships

'Throughout a life full of the unexpected and the unknown, I have discovered so much about relationships, both the great and the tough sides. In this book I'm going to share what I've learned, hoping that it helps you navigate the relationships that form the journey of life.'

Katie Piper is Britain's most inspiring woman, a much-loved voice of recovery and resilience. But after the acid attack that changed her life forever, Katie believed she would never have a relationship again - whether finding love, working again, or even with the material things we take for granted, like clothes, make up and food. Thanks to a support network of family and friends, doctors and nurses, police and lawyers, Katie pulled through the darkest of times. As Katie regained her confidence and learned to love herself again, she began to help others, building many meaningful connections - and she met her husband and started a gorgeous little family.

Drawing on Katie's own experiences and life story with wisdom, humour and empathy, Together is about loving yourself, loving others, and being truly stronger, together.

But you're not alone. From the moment I knew my first baby was a girl I started to plan, hope and dream. This is my journey in motherhood: my experiences, hopes and fears - with my mum's stories of raising me, a parenting expert's advice and empowering exercises - to guide you from those first wobbly moments to being a happy, healthy mum and raising children who aren't afraid to be themselves - and to go for the life they want. The Book of Forgotten Authors

Christopher Fowler
Authors:
Christopher Fowler

'Joyous . . . fascinating' Cathy Rentzenbrink'I love it! A real gem' Joanne Harris'Will have the inevitable effect of sending readers in search of these intriguing lost names' Barry ForshawAbsence doesn't make the heart grow fonder. It makes people think you're dead.So begins Christopher Fowler's foray into the back catalogues and backstories of 99 authors who, once hugely popular, have all but disappeared from our shelves.Whether male or female, domestic or international, flash-in-the-pan or prolific, mega-seller or prize-winner - no author, it seems, can ever be fully immune from the fate of being forgotten. And Fowler, as well as remembering their careers, lifts the lid on their lives, and why they often stopped writing or disappeared from the public eye. These 99 journeys are punctuated by 12 short essays about faded once-favourites: including the now-vanished novels Walt Disney brought to the screen, the contemporary rivals of Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie who did not stand the test of time, and the women who introduced us to psychological suspense many decades before it conquered the world. This is a book about books and their authors. It is for book lovers, and is written by one who could not be a more enthusiastic, enlightening and entertaining guide.(P)2017 Quercus Editions Ltd
