ROBOT OVERLORDS – THE NOVEL!
The eagerly-anticipated British independent film, ROBOT OVERLORDS, is due for release in early 2015
Gollancz, an imprint of the Orion Publishing Group, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of World Rights to publish the official novelisation. The fully authorised tie-in novel will be written by the scriptwriter and co-creator of the science-fiction movie, Mark Stay.
From Tempo Productions and Pinewood Pictures, ROBOT OVERLORDS stars Gillian Anderson (THE X-FILES), Ben Kingsley (IRON MAN 3) and Callan McAuliffe (THE GREAT GATSBY). The film is co-written by British script-writers Mark Stay and Jon Wright, and produced by Piers Tempest. With breath taking visual effects from the UK team Nvizible and stunning onset locations in the UK Isle of Man and Northern Ireland, ROBOT OVERLORDS is generating buzz across social media platforms months ahead of the film’s release in early 2015.
The film follows a group of teenagers in the wake of Earth’s invasion by Robots, and their regime which confined the human survivors to their homes. No one knows why – or what they want. There is only one clear message: Robots never lie. Nor do they show mercy . . .Read More
