Who we are and what we do

Jessica Kingsley Publishers, an award-winning publisher committed to social change, publishes titles for professionals and general readers. Our list includes books on the autism spectrum, arts therapies, mental health and gender diversity, and our Singing Dragon imprint comprises authoritative professional books on Chinese medicine, nutrition and yoga.

What you’ll be doing

You will be producing reprints and new titles across the list, including colour picture books and non-book products. The role involves all aspects of production: costs, scheduling, origination, print management, quality control and general problem-solving.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a highly organised team member with good communication and time management skills, keen to work within a friendly but extremely busy department.

The ideal candidate will have a good basic technical knowledge of print production, a meticulous eye for detail and a strong focus on quality, and be confident with Excel and working with reports. Experience working in a book production department and basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign is desirable.

Salary: up to £26,000, dependant on experience
