Primary Sales Consultant- TeeJay Maths and Rising Stars, Hodder Education

Hodder Gibson, a member of the group, is the number one publisher in Scotland for secondary schools and has been for over 100 years. We’re delighted to have recently added the well-loved Teejay Mathematics range to our existing Gibson portfolio.

We are looking for a Primary Sales Consultant to work school term-time. In this varied and challenging role, the successful candidate will sell print and digital resources to primary schools and local authority contacts in Scotland. The responsibilities of this role would include visiting schools and local authorities, representing the company at exhibitions and conferences, carrying out telesales and online meetings and delivering regular qualitative and quantitative reports. Living in the Edinburgh or Glasgow areas, you will travel to all parts of Scotland ensuring schools are aware of our range and offering excellent customer service and support.
We are looking for someone who has sales experience, preferably in an educational context who is organised, driven and a great team player.

The role sits within the Primary team, one of 4 UK sales teams maintained by Hodder Education. Our products are highly regarded and we have a strong existing customer base which gives an excellent springboard for growing our sales with new, innovative products and a strong backlist. We offer in depth initial training and ongoing support both in the field and at our Glasgow office.

Salary: £22,000-£25,000 per annum (depending on experience)
