On the 25th May 2012 EU regulations on cookies are changing (if you would like to know about cookies and how to control them visit aboutcookies.org). The legal situation is currently a little unclear but Quercus is committed to complying with the new rules and monitoring the situation so that we can implement best practice in respect of it.

WordPress, the blogging tool Quercus uses to build its websites, sets non-tracking cookies as soon as you go onto any WordPress site; additionally Google Analytics, which Quercus uses, also sets a first party cookie. More info can be found at www.google.com/policies/privacy/ads/

We do not set any other 3rd party tracking cookies.

If you visit the Quercus site you accept that these cookies will be added at the start of each visit.

There is information on how to clear your browser cookies here.

Details about ‘social’ cookies which allow you to share information can be found via e.g. facebook.com/about/privacy/ and twitter.com/privacy/
