Polari at Writing on the Wall – Reading

Reading of The Fates within a night of readings. Rosie has taken part in this before. Paul Burston, of Polari Salon, is organising this event. London's award-winning LGBTQ+ literary salon comes to Liverpool's Writing on the Wall festival. Inspired by the gay slang of the same name, Polari is a celebration of LGBTQ+ words and voices - whether written, spoken or sung. The salon also runs The Polari Prize awards - the UK's book awards for LGBTQ+ writing. This evening's event features author and host Paul Burston, author Rosie Garland, poet Ciaran Hodgers and performance poet and author Gerry Potter. This event is part of the Polari Prize National Showcase funded by Arts Council England. Ticket cost is £8.
